Un nouvel album photo a été ajouté : les livres sur Marilyn Monroe. Bien évidemment ils n'y sont pas tous. Comme pour les autres albums, dès qu'un ajout est publié, il sera mis en couverture de l'album. Les BD sont dans les albums BD, comics. Les catalogues de ventes aux enchères dans l'album catalogues. Les livres dont je ne connais pas la date de publication sont à la fin de l'album.

 A new photo album has been added: books about Marilyn Monroe. Of course they are not all there. As for the other albums, as soon as an addition is published, it will be put on the album cover. The comics are in the comics albums. Auction catalogues in the catalog album. The books I do not know the date of publication are at the end of the album.

Ce magazine est parfois vendu sur des sites de ventes aux enchères comme étant le premier magazine paru avec Norma Jeane en couverture. Le photographe serait André De Dienes et le modèle Norma Jeane. André De Dienes a photographié Norma Jeane la permière fois en 1945 et ce magazine Us Camera a été publié en novembre 1944. La robe portée par ce modèle sur la couverture ressemble effectivement à celle portée par Norma Jeane pendant la séance photo d'André De Dienes en 1945, ainsi que le lieu, la pose et la coiffure. La confusion vient également du fait que la jeune fille en couverture s'apelle Jean Parker et qu'avant son mariage avec Jim Dougherty, Norma Jeane s'apellelait Norma Jean Baker. On pourrait croire qu'elle aurait utilisé un pseudonyme, mais ce n'est pas elle. 

NB: Baker était le nom du mari de la mère de Marilyn. Le E de Norma Jeane a été enlevé par erreur suite à une erreur lors d'une inscription à l'école, mais initialement son prénom s'écrivait avec un E et son nom de baptême est Norma Jeane Mortenson.

This magazine is sometimes sold on auction sites as the first magazine published with Norma Jeane on the cover. The photographer would be André De Dienes and the model Norma Jeane. André De Dienes photographed Norma Jeane the first time in 1945 and this magazine Us Camera was published in November 1944. The dress worn by this model on the cover actually resembles that worn by Norma Jeane during the photo shoot of André De Dienes in 1945, as well as the place, the pose and the hairstyle. The confusion also stems from the fact that the girl on the cover is called Jean Parker and that before her marriage to Jim Dougherty, Norma Jeane was called Norma Jean Baker. You’d think she used a pseudonym, but it's not her.

NB: Baker was the name of Marilyn’s mother’s husband. Norma Jeane’s E was removed by mistake due to an error during a school registration, but initially her first name was written with an E and her baptismal name is Norma Jeane Mortenson.

Bien que Marilyn Monroe ait porté ce maillot de bain noir et blanc la même année que la parution de ce magazine et qu'elle soit née sous le nom de Norma Jeane Mortenson, il s'agit en réalité de Noreen Mortensen en couverture du magazine Laff publié en 1947. Noreen Mortensen était une actrice américaine (1928/2007)  qui ne fit pas une grande carrière. 

 Although Marilyn Monroe wore this black-and-white swimsuit the same year that this magazine was published and was born as Norma Jeane Mortenson, it is actually Noreen Mortensen on the cover of Laff magazine published in 1947. Noreen Mortensen was an American actress (1928/2007) who did not have a great career.
