Don Ornitz (1920/1972) est un photographe américain surnommé 'le titan des photographes d'Hollywood'. Il a photographié de nombreuses stars telles que Rachel Welch, Audrey Hepburn, Frank Sinatra et Marilyn Monroe. Il photographie Marilyn Monroe pour la première fois en 1949 pour la couverture du magazine True experiences, puis en 1951 et également sur le tournage du film Let's make love en 1960 avec Yves Montand. Il a travaillé pour de nombreux magazines comme Playboy, Globe, The saturday evening post, Look, Pageant et Life.
